This is a great course! I am learning things that never clicked before. I took some lessons years ago and learned one pentatonic scale pattern, one blues scale pattern and the modes. With the blues and pentatonic scales I wound up using the exact same pattern that I learned in different areas of the fretboard. So, I've been playing guitar for 20 years. I've played in a few gigging bands, and I play guitar most nights, anywhere from 1 hour to 4 or 5 hours. Learning the fretboard to the point of where I'm "comfortable" with it just by looking down at it, has aallwwaayyss been something I've struggled with. For one thing, it's not a "fun" part of guitar playing, because you're not actually playing anything. Plus, there's no real "consistency" of notes on a guitar.
